Cats
I adopted a new cat or kitten are is there any information that can help me? What about FeLV or FIV? Feline leukemia virus is abbreviated as FeLV, and feline immunodeficiency virus is abbreviated as FIV. Even though they're caused by separate viruses, these diseases have commonalities: they're both contagious and incurable. People and other species cannot contract either virus, only cats can.

Dogs
